Advasana (Upside down Shavasana)

Procedure

Lie on the ground with face downwards. Stretch the hands towards the front of the head with palms downwards. Forehead should touch the ground. Relax the body as in Shavasana. If you feel any difficulty in breathing you can use a thin pillow below the chest.

Breathing

Breathing should be normal and rythemic. Watch the breath with ease.

Attention:

Attention should be on the breathing. Watch the breath and relax the body. Spiritual practitioners should concentrate on Ajna Chakra or Manipura Chakra.

Benifits

Practice of this Asana helps to cure Slipped disc, hump-back. This is also a good sleeping posture.
